About DU SOL - School of Open Learning, Delhi University
The Delhi University School of Open Learning was formerly known as part of the correspondence courses and continuing education. The institution was established under the university of grants commission in 1962. The DU SOL is a pioneer institution in the field of providing Online and Distance Education within India and foreign students as well. Eligibility Criteria of UG Courses
To take admission in DU SOL’s UG three-year degree programmes, students must have completed their 10+2 with a minimum of 40% or more aggregate marks from a recognized board of education. The eligibility criteria of percentage vary from different courses and categories set by the UG admission committee of the university. To be admitted to B.Com Programme or Honors course a student needs to score above 70% aggregate marks in their 12th board. It is advised to the students to must visit at the official website of the university to check the cutoff marks for each course in which they need to take admissions.
Eligibility Criteria of PG Courses
For taking admission to post-graduation courses, the student must have hold a graduation in any specialization degree from a UGC-DEB authorized university/ institute. Students can pursue their master’s degree two-year degree course in these specializations namely as:
- M.A History
- M.A Hindi
- M.A Political Science
- M.A Sanskrit
- M.Com
Before enrolling into a PG course, a student first needs to check the merit list and requirement percentage set by DU SOL’s PG admission committee.
The medium of instruction in DU SOL is primarily in a conformable language of understanding, student could receive well-prepared printed course material which is distributed to the students by mail or in the offline classes. The faculty of DU SOL supplement the personal contact program which is conducted by the respective departments of the UG/PG courses.
