DU SOL Online MA is a 2-year post graduation course that is divided into 4 different semesters. Delhi University School of Open Learning (DU SOL) has released its Master’s application form online. Students who are keen on making and studying for masters from DU SOL. They can fill the application form online.

The link to the application form would be displayed on the homepage of DU SOL’s official website. DU SOL offers Masters indifferent modes of education. Students can pick such modes as per their comfortability such as Regular mode, distance mode, or online mode. DU SOL offers many specialized master’s programmes to the aspirants.

DU SOL PG Admission Application Forms

The aspirants who want to take admission at DU SOL Master’s programme have to fill the application form on the official web page of DU SOL (https://sol.du.ac.in/). For the online masters programe the application forms would be submitted only through online mode. 

Students can only pick one specialization at one moment for 2 years. The first student needs to make their registration ID just by filling in their basic information.  After compilation of registration Part 1, the student can get their login details and have to select their core specialized subject. Just by selecting their master programe, then the last step is left to submit the course fee of a particular subject.

How To Fill DU SOL PG Application Form?

Step 1: Visit at the official website of DU SOL and then click on the “PG Admission Portal 2021”. The link you can find in the notification area.

Step 2: Once a student is clicked on the “PG admission portal”, then click on the – “New Registration” with a valid email ID of a student.

Step 3: Once a student has successfully done with the registration part, by filling up the credentials such as Name, Age, Contact Details, Mail ID, or any other basic information. Students at the time of filling the registration process, need to submit some amount of the registration process payment.

Step 4: Part 2 of the master’s form is the application form. In this part, a student needs to fill in their basic personal details, select the course and the subject papers, upload the documents, and lastly submit the master’s application course fee. The fee structure is quite different as per the selection of course.

Step 5: To fill the PG application form, aspirants have to update their documents which are required as they are prescribed on the official web page of DU SOL. 

Documents Required at a time of uploading on the PG Admissions :

  • Current passport size photograph 
  • Scanned signature of a candidate 
  • Self-attested copy of ID proofs that include; Aadhar card/ PAN card/ Driving License
  • Self-attested copy of 10th board & passing certificate. 
  • Self-attested copy of 12th board & passing certificate. 
  • Self-attested copy of graduation degree (if not get from the university), the student can upload the provisional certificate of BA or semester-wise mark sheet in the place of uploading graduation degree. 
  • Migration certificate provided by the university. 
  • An original copy of the caste certificate, if a student belongs from a Schedule Caste (SC)/ Schedule Tribe (ST)/ Other Backward Classes (OBC)/ Person with disability (PWD).

Step 6: After uploading all the documents file, click on the submit button, and then the new page of personal details will open.

Step 7: Students can start filling in their personal details, educational background, family details, address details, and any other such relevant details.

Step 8:  Once all the personal details section is done. It is required for a student to pick their regional and the study center at their convenience of location.

Step 9: Now save the application form and the course payment via Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.

Step 10: The entire course fee of a particular course is separate from the application form and registration fee, that a student needs to submit.

Step 11: Once a student has submitted the admission course payment then a student will receive the confirmation PDF/ slip on their email id or SMS on their respective given contact number.

Students are advised to fill the application form very carefully. If he/she does any mistakes in filling the application, their whole application form will get rejected or declined by the DU SOL website. 

Courses Offered By DU SOL Master’s

Delhi Univeristy School of Open Learning offered four different specializations of masters at the post-graduation level. There are different eligibility criteria as per the master programe offered by the DU SOL. Also, the course fee is also different from each and other. 

Masters Specialization Offered by DU SOL:

Specialization  Year  Eligibility Course Percentage 
Hindi  2 years (4 sem) A minimum of 65% aggregate marks is required. Students must have their bachelor’s in this specialized Hindi course from a recognized (UGC- DEB) university/ institute. 
History  2 years (4 sem) A minimum of 60% aggregate marks or above is required to take admission in MA history. Students must have studied history at their graduation level or any other relevant specialization from a recognized (UGC-DEB) university/ institute. 
Political Science  2 years (4 sem) A minimum of 60% or above aggregate marks is required to take admission in DU SOL’s master’s programme. Students must have studied political science in their graduation years or relevant subject study. BA must be done from a recognized (UGC-DEB) university/ institute. 
Sanskrit  2 years (4 sem)  A minimum of 55% – 60% above aggregate marks are required to enroll in the DU SOL’s master’s programme. In this MA course, a student must be studied Sanskrit in their graduation years only them he/she is eligible for the respected course. Bachelors must be done from a recognized (UGC-DEB) university/ institute.
