What is the Last Date for DU M.Sc Admission

Every year, Delhi University opens admission for a new batch in the months of July and August.  For admissions dates, visit Delhi University's official website. The M.Sc. program will shortly reopen for the upcoming academic year; the application period concluded this year. The official Delhi University website has all the information on program admission. The CUET-PG entrance test is a crucial component of the M.Sc. Specialization admissions process. This program has several other entrance tests, including NEST, IIT JAM, and many more. Students can select the specialization they want to pursue after passing the entrance exam.

Entrance Exams for M.Sc Specialization in India

  • CUET-PG: India's National Testing Agency (NTA) administers the Common University Entrance Test for Post-Graduate programs, or CUET-PG, a standardized test. It acts as a doorway for enrollment in a range of postgraduate programs provided by nationwide central universities.
  • IIT JAM: The Joint Admission Test for Master of Science at Indian Institutes of Technology. IIT JAM, administered sporadically by several IITs, assesses applicants' knowledge of science, including topics like physics, chemistry, mathematics, biotechnology, geology, and mathematical statistics.
  • ICAR AIEEA (PG): The All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA), which is required for postgraduate courses (PG) in agriculture and related disciplines, is administered by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). Candidates' knowledge, comprehension, and skill in agricultural and associated sciences—such as agriculture, horticulture, forestry, veterinary sciences, fisheries science, dairy technology, etc.—are assessed by the ICAR AIEEA (PG).
  • NEST: The University of Mumbai and its Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS) and the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar, jointly conducts the National Entrance Screening Test (NEST), a competitive test.

Note: All are these entrance exam conducted to get admission to various college for the M.sc program, but Delhi University only entertain the entrance score of CUET-PG of that academic year. Other entrances are accepted by other universities at various levels like state, colleges basis.
