Economics, Bachelor in Library and Information Science (BLIS), BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies), Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) and MBA (Master of Business Administration).

The Delhi University’s School of Open Learning is ready to present 6 new job-oriented programs at UG and PG levels. The courses will be available for the admission to income batch but the same will be delivered or taught from the next academic sessions.

These new courses are BBA (Financial and Investment Analysis), BA (Honors) Economics, Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS), Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS), MBA and BMS. All the courses except MBA have unlimited seats but students need to meet the minimum eligibility criteria for admission. This DU SOL MBA degree course will have 20,000 seats in total and the varsity will release the admission list very soon.

According to the University of Delhi’s Vice Chancellor Prof. Yogesh Singh, this open learning institution has entered its 60th year but no course was introduced in the last twenty-eight years, but from the last year, we have started thinking about introducing new courses and these job oriented courses are the result of the same. We launch student-friendly courses that are attractive for them and useful too.

These courses are introduced by taking proper approvals and verifications from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Distance Education Bureau (DEB.)

The director of the Campus of Open Learning, Payal Mago, said that the main motive of our VC is to implement student-oriented guidelines and courses. These six job-oriented programs are launching this year and it’s a moment of merriment for us because we have been delivering selected traditional courses for a very long time. Once the VC Yogesh Singh joined the university, we saw new changes in the university in the form of job-oriented programs.

The admission forms for these courses are likely to live this week.

The regular programs of Delhi University are being conducted through the CUET score. Admission to these regular programs that are being conducted through CUET tests needs a good score in class 12th.

Just like regular degree courses, the four-year undergraduate curriculum framework is being introduced in the open learning courses. DU SOL already offers various programs at UG and PG levels. These six courses will make the institution a good place for online learning.
