DU MBA Online Application 2024-25

Students who want to take admission to their desired program in DU MBA need to apply to the respective college or department individually. 

Interested candidates who want to apply in the DFS of DU MBA for MBA programs need to fill the application form in order to be eligible for further rounds of the selection or admission procedure. Students are required to fill the application form available on the website of DU MBA and submit the same online as no other modes are allowed for the admission procedure. 

The registration fee is 1800 INR for general candidates. For SC/ST category, it is 900 INR.

DU MBA FMS Application Procedure

Candidates who want to get admission to DU MBA FMS can easily apply to their desired program using the below-mentioned steps:

  • First of all, visit the official website of FMS, the portal of DU MBA.
  • Students belonging to SC, ST and PWD categories are required to pay the number of rupees 350 INR and general/OBC needed to pay a sum of rupees of 1000.

Note: The registration fee can be easily paid using the online services of ICICI bank’s credit or debit card.

  • Students who want to apply for multiple programs are requested to register themselves for each course separately.
  • Foreign candidates are required to visit the FSR (Foreign Students Registry) office and register themselves using an application form as without FSR registration, no application is allowed for any candidate.

DU MBA Eligibility Criteria for Admission 2024-25

MBA from FMS

In order to take admission to the two-year master degree program in management from FMS, then you must have achieved at least 50% marks in aggregate in class 12th and bachelor degree examination passed with 50%.

For reserved categories like SC/ST and OBC, the passing percentage is 45%.

A valid CAT score is mandatory for admission.

MBA Executive from Faculty of Management Studies (FMS)

Bachelor degree with at least 45% marks in aggregate or any equivalent degree from a reputed and UGC approved institution.

Required five years of work experience at any administrative or executive level.

If you were working in an organization, then NOC is required for admission.

MBA (Healthcare Administration) from FMS

The minimum requirement is 45% marks in aggregate in any bachelor degree related to a medical field like nursing, Genomics, Genetics, Paramedical, Bioengineering etc.

Candidates having work experience will be given preference

NOC is required if the candidate worked earlier at any post

MBA from Department of Financial Studies (DFS)

Graduation degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate

A valid CAT percentile is required to submit

Must have Business or general Maths is required in class 12th examination

Students who are in their final year of UG degree course can also apply

Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Nationals

Foreign nationals who want to take admission to MBA programs are required to register themselves with the FSR or Foreign Students Registry of the University. They are also required to take permission from the Ministry of External affairs for getting admission to the program. They must have a valid visa of at least 2 years of duration. GMAT and TOEFL scorecards are also mandatory for the admission process. In GMAT, you must have secured at least 650 marks in aggregate.

DU MBA Selection Criteria for 2024-25 Admission 

The department of Financial Studies and Faculty of Management Studies of Delhi University has clearly described the criteria of selection for the students who want to get admission to MBA programs. Course-wise selection procedure is mentioned below:

There are two primary stages of selection tp MBA programs in DU MBA:

  • Appearing for CAT
  • Cut-off marks 
  • Once you have scored a minimum eligibility score as per the cut-off marks, then you will be called for Extempore speech, GD and PI.

Students must have these mentioned documents for the admission procedure to the program of MBA. These  documents need to be sent to the Registrar Office of FMS:

  • Printout of the application form related to FMS for MBA
  • Candidate photograph and signature
  • Special certificate from the HOD, Principal, Director and Registrar for the candidates who are about to appear for the final year examination of their bachelor degree. Waiting list students also need to submit the same thing.
  • Once you have made your registration payment, you need to upload your signature, photograph and left thumb impression in the JPEG format.  Each of them should not exceed the limit of 50kb.

The Delhi University has its own placement cell through which the final year students are allowed to take interview rounds in top MNCs and organizations of India.
