DU SOL EMBA (Executive Masters of Business Administration) program is a professional degree course. The EMBA is a 1-year working professional degree course, consisting of 2 semesters. Delhi University School of Open Learning offers an EMBA (Executive Masters of Business Administration) programme in 3 different modes of education such as,

  • Regular Mode
  • Distance Mode
  • Online Mode

In the Regular Mode, a student can get their classes just like a regular classes mode. All the structure of classes is designed offline. Students need to visit an assigned study center or campus for their respective classes. The classes of regular students would be done on weekdays only i.e (Mondays to Fridays). The timing and schedule of the classes will be announced at the time of classes after confirmation of the whole admission of the EMBA academic session of 2024-25.

In the Distance Mode, a student can receive their classes through distance mode. In this mode of education, students will receive class only on weekends i.e (Saturdays & Sundays). The classes will be done only in the study centers which are assigned by the regional center. Also, the students have to submit their respective assignments only at their study center. The examinations are the same done in the study center of the students which they have selected at the time of filling the admission application form. 

 

In the Online Mode, a student will get an opportunity to take their respective classes through the online mode of education. On the virtual mode via zoom classes, Microsoft Teams, and other applications. Students can visit the official; website of the DU SOL EMBA web page, to get notifications about their assignment papers, submissions, examinations, and other relevant course information.

What is the last date to apply for the DU SOL EMBA Course?

Students who are keen and highly interested to make their career or continue with EMBA with their respective jobs at higher to a lower position. Aspirants can apply and enroll themselves for the EMBA programme through the online mode of admission. DU SOL EMBA course admission has already started in DU SOL from October 22. The last date to apply for this EMBA specialization is still open on 15th December of 2022. Candidates can apply for this course. It is requested for the students to first check the eligibility criteria of DU SOL EMBA. 

EMBA (Executive Masters of Business Administration) Eligibility Criteria

To take admission in the DU SOL EMBA program, a student has to cross the eligibility criteria that are announced by the School of Open Learning administration and faculty senior. Though the eligibility criteria are set by the admission committee of a particular course which includes such parameters such as, education qualification, percentage, and other criteria set by DU SOL that is mentioned below.   • Students must have completed their bachelor’s degree from any recognized university (UGC-DEB) approved. 
  • A science student undergraduate degree holders such as B.tech, Honors course, BCA, and other science specialization degree holder can apply for this DU SOL EMBA course. 
  • A minimum of 60% or more aggregate marks is required for taking admissions to DU SOL EMBA Online or Distance course. 
  • Students must have at least 2 or more years of corporate work experience at the marginal or executive level. 
  • Work experience in part-time mode is not applicable by the University of open learning in the EMBA course. 

Aspirants must have cleared the eligibility criteria and the merit list, as to take admission in DU SOL’s s EMBA 2- year professional degree programme.

The syllabus of executive masters of business administration (EMBA)  is not as the same syllabus which would be taught in the regular MBA course. Students need to study these core and elective subjects in their EMBA courses. Apart from this students need to submit the assignment papers of each semester and course every year. The assignment paper, a student will receive when the examinations of semesters will be announced or notified. A total of 30 % of weightage marks, the assignments carry in the semester submission of internal assessments.

The assessments include research work, projects, class tests, and other activities related to the EMBA course.
