Program Fees of MCA DU

For the first year of the MCA program, the total course fee is 47,294 INR. The course must be finished in a minimum of 2 years. MCA's 1st-semester fee is 9,670 INR, and for semesters 2,4 &6, the fee is 7,108 INR; for semesters 3& 5, the fee is 8,150 INR each. The students are required to pay the registration cost, which is 1000 INR. It will be different in the case of reserved categories. Duration of MCA DU

Selection Criteria

There are two categories (Category 1 & Category 2) for Delhi University's MCA program selection requirements. Category 1: This group was granted direct admission to Delhi University's postgraduate programs. Students do not have to take an admission test to qualify for this group. Based on the merit list, they can be admitted. Only those graduates of Delhi University are eligible to apply for this category. Category 2: This category holds entrance exams for admission to Delhi University's postgraduate program. Admission Procedure for MCA DU

The university often administers the entrance test (CUET-PG) as part of the admissions process. As per the official admission announcement, interested individuals must submit an application, attend the entrance exam, and finish any other necessary prerequisites. Additionally, DU admits students based solely on merit (only to DU graduates), and these admissions fall under (category 1).

How to fill out the online registration form:

  • Choose the course application platform, such as the DU PG platform. 
  • After, students visit the "New Applicant Sign Up" page and select the "New Registration" button to register as first-time users.
  • The "Create New Account" page requires the Student to complete all the information.
  • Since the email address and password will be used for admissions, students should verify them.
  • The applicant must click "Register" to create a new user account.
  • An email or SMS will be sent to the phone number or email address submitted upon registration.
  • Students must connect to the PG admission site and complete the online registration form after enrolling.
  • Under the "Registered Applicant Sign In" page, the applicant must provide their "password" and "registered email-id" as their login and password.
  • The candidate must complete the registration form by providing the required information after logging in.

Note: For the admission procedure, students must clarify the CUET- PG entrance exam with a decent score. But if the students want direct admission on merit (Only for DU pass-outs), they don’t need to appear on the entrance exam. The CUET exam is not mandatory for the Central Universities as of now.

Does DU have an Entrance Exam?

Indeed, there are admission tests (CUET-PG) for Delhi University's postgraduate programs. Suppose individuals are interested in enrolling themselves in Delhi University's postgraduate programs. Eligibility Criteria of MCA DU
