Evaluation

The evaluation for the course is done on the basis of two main components, namely Internal Assessment (IA) and term-end examinations, which carry academic weightages of 30% and 70%. The IA includes the student’s assignments, quizzes, projects and the term-end exams include the final examinations along with practicals (if included) for the semester. A student must score a minimum of 45% marks in both the IA and term-end examination to qualify a paper. An overall of 45% marks must also be maintained in a semester.

Term-End Examinations

DU-SOL conducts examinations in the physical, offline mode for this course. The exam is of a full duration of 3 hours, total of 70 marks, and in the medium of English. Students need to appear for the exam at their designated examination center. They must obtain at least 40% marks to qualify an exam. They must fill the examination form and submit their exam fee prior to the commencement of the tests to be eligible to appear for the exam.
